Wind, snow, mossy lava fields, and frosty waterfalls…
Never mind the frozen fingers – our return to Iceland on the edge of a snowy winter to capture the private elopement of Julie and Chris was well worth it.

Congratulations, Chris & Julie! And thanks for deciding to elope to Iceland… who doesn’t love a wedding in Iceland?!
Beautiful work, guys; I can’t believe how badly it makes me want to go back to Búðir…!

Oh my word- seriously best videography!! Do Yall offer workshops or internship? Or a top 5 favorite gear list if you had to pick?

  • Emily - January 14, 2015 - 9:31 am

Amazing work!!! Let me know when you do anything outside of weddings and engagements.

  • Jessica Doll - January 16, 2015 - 12:29 pm

This is absolutely breathtaking! Shared on twitter. :)

You might think we filmed Anh & John’s engagement film over the course of a year. But as it turned out, we had all four seasons — a spring grove, summer sun, an autumn meadow, and winter snow — all within a single day. Sometimes magic happens. And we’re happy we were there for it.

I hate to say it, but I’m thinking we just all have to go back to Iceland and recreate the entire wedding and reshoot it all from the start; I think you missed that critical moment where that beautiful thing happened? Remember, that beautiful thing that was right before the other beautiful thing, and about 2 minutes after the earlier beautiful thing?
    {insert smart-aleck grin here}

Guys, this is just wonderfully, fantastically, absorbingly lovely to watch! I love the music choice, too. The whole thing makes me go all goosebumply, and beam with happiness for Kat & Steve all over again, and of course, makes me pine for Iceland; could there have been ANY more spectacular introduction to Iceland, for some 40 first-time visitors, than the particular week we all shared there?

You’ve captured everything that was marvelous and magical about the place and the trip and the wedding weekend, and have created a world-class engagement/wedding video that makes me want to go get married in Iceland tomorrow. I’m so, so, so happy to view this at last, again and again!

The moment when you realize your cinematography has went beyond a level of amazement that renders all speechless.

    You. Are. There.

The most beautiful video I have ever seen.

  • Kristen Booth - September 9, 2013 - 11:39 am

Absolutely astounding. I never wanted it to end. Can’t imagine a more talented team!

  • Erika Jessop - September 21, 2013 - 1:10 pm

Wow…once again. Amazing! Are those rocks moving at 4:02?

  • Barney Walters - September 24, 2013 - 2:46 am

Cracking Job. Love the mix of the two days and all the landscape slows. Big fan of the close up movement of the couple running and the hair in the wind. Took me a while to work out what the music was. :)

    This is absoluty stunning!

  • Chris Budny - January 15, 2014 - 12:10 pm

…And I’m still viewing it…! A friend is traveling to Iceland later this year and he asked me for pointers from my trip to attend Kat & Steve’s wedding; I had to come back and look over all your stills, and the video again, to put myself into the proper frame of mind to write my reply to him. It worked beautifully, for that!
Of course, I then had to show off the video to a few coworkers, too ;) It is so well done, so completely evocative of that visit and the beauty of Iceland, and it so strongly makes me want to go back!

  • Anna Nguyen - January 24, 2014 - 9:01 pm

My nephew is planning an adventure. This time to Iceland and I remembered this incredible video to forward on. What an other worldly spot but you captured it’s beauty in such a grand, spectacular fashion. Always leaves me wondering, “how in the world did he do that?” Breathtaking. Just thought I’d say.
